Job Description: The Senior Operations Manager leads and oversees the overall retail operations of the company across Own Stores, Kiosks, and Watsons. The role is responsible for driving sales execution, operational excellence, inventory availability, store standards, and consistent brand execution across all retail areas. The Senior Operations Manager directly manages the Assistant Operations Managers assigned per area, Field Operations Supervisor, and BA, ensuring effective leadership, field execution, performance management, and alignment with company objectives. The role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Brand, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and other departments to develop and execute strategies that improve retail performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities Lead and oversee overall retail operations across Own Stores, Kiosks, and Watsons, ensuring consistent execution of company standards and business objectives. Directly manage and provide leadership to the Assistant Operations Managers per area, Field Operations Supervisor, and BA, ensuring clear accountability, performance, and effective field execution. Develop and implement retail operations strategies, systems, processes, and action plans to achieve sales, operational, and business targets. Oversee store and field performance, including sales execution, staffing, productivity, inventory availability, merchandising, store standards, and customer experience. Lead demand planning and coordinate closely with Sales and Supply Chain to ensure product availability, replenishment, and optimal fill rates across retail channels. Work closely with Brand and Marketing teams in developing and executing product launches, promotions, activations, merchandising programs, and other retail initiatives. Monitor retail and field performance through regular reports, store visits, market observations, and performance reviews; identify gaps and implement appropriate action plans. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer behavior, and retail performance to identify business opportunities and operational improvements. Develop and present operational strategies, business plans, gap-closure plans, and performance recommendations to the management. Ensure operational readiness and effective execution of major initiatives across Own Stores, Kiosks, and Watsons, including launches, promotions, activations, and other commercial activities. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external retail partners to ensure smooth and effective execution of business requirements. Lead cross-functional projects involving Operations, Sales, Marketing, Brand, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, E-commerce, and other relevant teams. Drive continuous improvement of retail processes and systems to improve productivity, efficiency, profitability, and customer experience. Establish performance standards and provide coaching, direction, and development to the Operations team and field personnel. Review team and area performance and ensure that Assistant Operations Managers and Field Operations teams effectively address operational gaps and business priorities. Manage multiple projects, priorities, and short deadlines while maintaining quality, accountability, and timely execution. Identify operational risks and escalate critical concerns to the management, providing practical and data-driven recommendations. Perform other operations-related duties, strategic initiatives, and special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or any related field. At least 7–10 years of progressive experience in retail operations, preferably within cosmetics, beauty, FMCG, fashion, or other consumer retail industries. At least 3–5 years of managerial experience leading multi-area, multi-store, or field operations teams. Proven experience managing Area/Assistant Operations Managers, Field Supervisors, Beauty Advisors, or similar field and retail teams. Strong experience in Own Stores, Kiosks, Department Stores, Watsons, or other retail channels is highly preferred. Strong background in retail sales execution, store operations, inventory management, demand planning, merchandising, promotions, and field execution. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute operational strategies, business plans, and gap-closure initiatives. Strong understanding of retail KPIs, sales performance, productivity, inventory, and store-level profitability. Proven ability to analyze market trends and competitive activities and translate insights into actionable business strategies. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, develop, motivate, and hold teams accountable. Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and external retail partners. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with POS, ERP, or retail reporting systems is an advantage. Willing to conduct regular fieldwork and travel across assigned areas and retail locations. Willing to work extended hours, weekends, and during major retail activities when required.
