Operations Manager
Operations Manager is a highly organized leader, multitasker and excellent communicator. This position will be responsible for overseeing daily dispatching, motivating the driver team, manage fleet maintenance and repairs, while keeping accurate billing/driver/truck files/records as per the DOT. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and timely deliveries while being the main point of contact with our customers. The Operations Manager will have strong situational awareness, a proficient understanding of trucking and port operations, able to motivate and take charge while promoting a culture of safe driving and equality. Pay is negotiable depending upon experience. REQUIREMENTS: · High school diploma · Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position. · Knowledge of trucking & port operations, delivery routes and industry regulations. · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, customers, and vendors. · Exceptional organizational skills and able to multitask in fast-paced environment. · Problem solving mindset and able to make quick decisions while dealing w/ various constraints. · Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records, documentation, and expirations. · Proficiency in using spreadsheets, word documents, GPS software and other relevant tools for efficient scheduling, tracking and record keeping. · Continuing knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
