Operations Lead / Property Management Associate
About the Role Hope Street Management Corporation is seeking an experienced, highly organized and service-oriented Operations Lead / Property Management Associate to join our Vancouver team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role combining leadership of a key corporate housing account, management of a small residential portfolio, and administrative support for our broader team. The successful candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of our corporate housing program and serve as a key point of contact for corporate clients and guests . We are looking for someone who can quickly understand an operation, work independently and proactively communicate when issues, delays or changes arise. The role also includes supporting our residential property management team and managing a small portfolio based on licensing and experience. As our systems and automation evolve, there will be opportunities to take on greater property management responsibility over time. Candidates should either hold a current BCFSA Rental Property Management licence or be actively working toward obtaining one. Key Responsibilities: Corporate Housing Operations & Client Service Lead day-to-day operations for a high-profile corporate housing account Serve as a key point of contact for corporate client representatives and guests Coordinate accommodation schedules, housekeeping, maintenance, vendors and unit readiness Monitor upcoming arrivals, departures and operational requirements and anticipate potential issues Proactively communicate delays, issues or changes and coordinate solutions Provide responsive, professional and solutions-oriented client and guest service Maintain high standards for professionalism, presentation, brand expectations and the overall client and guest experience Residential Property Management & Administrative Support Manage a small portfolio of residential properties, based on licensing and experience Coordinate owner and resident communication, maintenance, inspections, lease renewals and other day-to-day property matters Support other Property Managers and the broader Vancouver team as needed Take on additional property management and administrative responsibilities as experience, capacity and licensing permit Schedule & On-Call Coverage This is a Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. in-office position based in Vancouver. The role also includes weekday on-call coverage from 5:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. , with a separate on-call allowance provided in addition to base salary. Experience & Qualifications We are seeking someone with approximately 5–7 years of relevant professional experience , ideally in property management, property administration, operations, hospitality or another client-facing environment. Strong professional communication and client relationship skills Excellent organization, judgement and practical problem-solving skills Able to quickly understand an operation, work independently and manage changing priorities Professional and service-oriented, with strong attention to presentation, brand standards and the client and guest experience Experience supporting corporate clients, property owners, residents, executives or guests in a high-touch service environment is particularly valuable. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary education is preferred but not required . Relevant professional experience will also be considered. Technology Candidates should be technologically confident and comfortable learning new systems , including Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace and cloud-based business platforms. Experience with property management, CRM, booking or workflow systems is an asset, as is experience using AI and automation tools to improve productivity and processes .
