# Operations Lead **LIZY** · Elsene · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role About LIZY LIZY is revolutionizing the €70 billion European car leasing industry, one of the last giants yet to be disrupted. Traditional leasing is slow, complex, and overpriced. We’re changing that. Founded in 2019, LIZY makes car leasing as seamless as buying a toaster on Amazon, with the premium touch of a Four Seasons experience. Our ambition? To become the #1 digital car leasing platform in Europe . Headquartered in Brussels , LIZY operates in Belgium, France , and the Netherlands , serving SMEs and self-employed professionals with transparent, flexible, and affordable leasing solutions, including electric and nearly new vehicles. Backed by €75M+ in funding and recognized as EY Scale-up of the Year 2025 , we’re scaling fast with a top-tier team from Google, McKinsey, Bain, Deloitte, Cowboy, Teamleader, and more, building the future of smarter and more sustainable mobility . LIZY values Fun (Have it): Enjoy the ride – life is short. Feedback (Give it): Feedback is the breakfast of champions. Always assume positive intent. Personal Growth (Master it): Never stop learning and improving. Wow (Deliver it): Actually make our customers say “WOW”. ‍️ Drive (Show it): Show commitment and bring everything you have. Do what you say and say what you do. The Position LIZY is hiring an Operations Lead for our Compound & Leasing Operations team in Brussels. Here’s the situation. A LIZY contract only becomes real when a car is prepared, registered, and handed to a customer in perfect shape — and then kept on the road, hassle-free, for the entire lease. That’s what our team owns, across two engines. Compound Ops gets every car ready before handoff: inspection, photos, repairs, and import & registration admin. Leasing Ops manages the partners that keep the car running across the contract lifecycle: maintenance, repairs & tires, roadside assistance, insurance claims, and more. And the volume is coming — fast. We already deliver hundreds of cars a month, with volumes growing 70%+ YoY — a fleet that grows 50% YoY in Belgium and doubles in France and the Netherlands. An operation that copes at today’s scale will break at tomorrow’s. Someone has to own a piece of this end to end, decide how it should work, and rebuild it to carry that growth without dropping a beat on cost or customer experience. That’s you. This isn’t a role for keeping the lights on. You’ll take full ownership of a scope within Compound or Leasing Ops — its processes, its partners, its cost line, and its outcomes — and become the person the rest of the company turns to on it. Concretely, that’s a real cost cube to own outright — €1–3m for a Leasing cube like roadside assistance or maintenance & repairs, up to €6–7m for Compound — and a key voice in the service and product strategy we build around it. You’ve spent a few years in consulting, operations, or a high-growth environment — long enough to have owned real outcomes, not just slides. You’ve built the models and the decks; now you want to run the thing, make the calls, and be measured on the result. We know who you are. You’ll love it here. What You’ll Own A scope, end to end: own a defined area within Compound or Leasing Ops — the expert others turn to, accountable for how well it works, not just for keeping it running. Redesign, not just maintenance: drive process improvements end to end, build them yourself on our stack (Airtable, Make), and standardise so we build consistently as we scale. The P&L of your scope: own your cost cube end to end — the €6–7m Compound Operations cost base, or a Leasing Ops cost cube like roadside assistance, maintenance & repairs, tires, or short-term rental vehicles (€1–3m each). Cost monitoring, budgeting, hard supplier negotiation, tenders from A to Z, and the improvement plan — all yours. Service & product strategy: your cost cube isn’t only a number to defend — you’ll have a key role in shaping how our service and product offering evolves around it. The metrics: define what gets measured in your scope and build monitoring that surfaces issues before they escalate — analyses that drive decisions, not dashboards nobody reads. The direction: start shaping the OKRs and roadmap for your scope — decide what to build, buy, or automate, and make the call when the answer isn’t obvious. Cross-functional pull: work with Finance, Tech, and the commercial teams to unblock what you can’t fix alone. About You Owner of outcomes, not tasks: if the result is wrong, it’s not done. You own the whole thing and you’re at your best when the buck stops with you. The itch to build — with judgment: you look at a half-manual scope and can’t wait to redesign it, and you know where the effort is worth spending. You set the direction: you define the vision and priorities for your scope yourself; you don’t wait for the path to be drawn. Commercially sharp: you use data to find the margin, negotiate hard without sacrificing quality, and defend a cost-vs-service view. You frame before you solve: you separate root cause from symptom, prioritize ruthlessly, and make your case with structure and data. Fire in the belly: for the projects that matter, over my dead body this doesn’t ship. Your profile 3–5 years in consulting, operations, a high-growth startup, or a comparable environment where you owned real outcomes end to end. A track record of taking a messy scope and making it work — ideally something you built or rebuilt yourself. Strong analytical and commercial skills, including cost ownership and supplier negotiation; comfortable making and defending decisions with data. Comfortable building on a no-code/automation stack yourself (Airtable, Make, or similar) — more of a real expectation here than at Associate level, though ownership and the drive to build still come first. A strong academic record. Fluent in English and French or Dutch — a good command of the other national language is a plus. Affinity for the automotive industry is a plus. Perks and Benefits At LIZY, your success is our success . We make sure every team member feels supported, empowered, and inspired every single day.
