Operations Executive - General Insurance Underwriting

Job Purpose

To provide end-to-end general insurance underwriting and operational support to assigned sales team members, ensuring timely quotations, policy issuance, renewals, and efficient servicing of client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple insurers for general insurance products, including motor, property, marine, engineering, and liability.
• Coordinate with insurance company underwriters to negotiate premiums, coverage, terms, and conditions.
• Provide dedicated operational support to assigned sales executives and manage their business pipeline.
• Process policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Review quotations and policy documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
• Follow up on pending quotations, approvals, documentation, and policy issuance.
• Coordinate with insurers, sales teams, finance, and claims teams to resolve operational queries.
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, policies, renewals, and pending cases in the CRM or broker management system.
• Prepare regular reports on quotation status, renewals, and business pipeline.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in general insurance operations or underwriting support within a UAE insurance brokerage.
• Hands-on experience in quotations, policy processing, renewals, and endorsements.
• Experience supporting dedicated sales executives or managing assigned client portfolios is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE general insurance products and insurer coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
