We’re hiring an Operations & Compliance Manager to help our branches operate consistently, support employees with challenging situations, and strengthen our training and compliance practices. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys visiting offices, working with people, reviewing details, and following through when something needs to be fixed. You’ll begin with hands-on training alongside the owner at our Boise/Chinden office, then work with branches throughout the company. What you’ll do Visit branches regularly to observe operations, answer questions, and support branch managers and staff. Conduct internal file and process reviews, document findings, and follow up to make sure corrections are completed. Develop and maintain practical procedures, checklists, and training materials. Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to existing staff. Help employees work through unusual loan, payment, customer service, and repossession situations, escalating matters when appropriate. Monitor whether company procedures are being followed consistently across offices. Help prepare for regulatory examinations and coordinate responses to findings with the owner and outside advisers. Identify recurring problems and recommend workable improvements. What we’re looking for Experience managing people and operations in consumer lending, banking, credit unions, or a closely related field. Strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to document decisions clearly. A supportive teaching style and the confidence to address problems directly. Ability to work independently, organize follow-up across multiple locations, and keep the owner informed. Working knowledge of federal and Idaho laws and regulations affecting consumer lending, or substantial lending experience with the ability to develop that expertise quickly. Willingness and ability to travel regularly to our Idaho offices. Experience with lending compliance, internal audits, regulatory examinations, or employee training is especially valuable. You do not need to know every answer on day one; you do need to be willing to research questions, ask the owner or counsel for guidance when needed, and make sure issues are resolved.
