This is a varied role providing essential administrative and purchasing support to the Operations Team. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring the department has the information, resources and systems in place to operate efficiently. The position is initially temporary to permanent , with no fixed end date, and would suit someone who has previously worked within an Operations function in a manufacturing or production environment . Key Responsibilities The role will primarily focus on managing the administrative requirements of the Operations Team, including: · Managing holiday administration for the Operations Team · Maintaining and managing Training Needs Analysis (TNA) information and records · Calculating payroll hours and providing administrative support for the payroll process · Ordering operational consumables and maintaining appropriate stock levels, including items such as shrink wrap and strapping · Monitoring usage and stock levels of CONSUMABLES · Liaising regularly with suppliers to ensure operational requirements are met · Managing and coordinating deliveries effectively · Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is kept up to date · Providing general administrative and purchasing support to the Operations Team · Producing and maintaining spreadsheets, reports and operational information as required · Supporting the wider Operations Team with day-to-day administrative activities About You We are looking for someone who is confident working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and who can manage a varied workload effectively. You will ideally have: · Previous experience working within an Operations Team in a manufacturing or production environment · Strong organisational and time management skills · Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy · Excellent written and verbal English communication skills · Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel · Confidence working with figures and numerical information · The ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines · A proactive and practical approach to problem solving · Good communication skills and the confidence to liaise with colleagues and external suppliers The ability to work independently while also supporting a wider operational team Pay: From £26,000.00 per year Benefits: Company events Company pension Cycle to work scheme Free parking Gym membership Health & wellbeing programme Life insurance On-site parking Work Location: In person
