Operation Manager (Seat Assembly)
Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Seat Assembly operations to achieve production targets in terms of quality, cost, delivery, safety, and productivity. Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste. Manage manpower planning, staff development, performance evaluation, and team engagement. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Collaborate closely with Production Planning, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve production issues. Monitor production KPls, analyze performance data, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Drive problem-solving activities using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Manage production costs and optimize resource utilization while maintaining product quality. Support new model launches and process improvements within the Seat Assembly department. Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role within manufacturing operations . Must have experience in automotive Seat Assembly operations. Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement . Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and people management skills .
