Operation Manager
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Experience Level: 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics management Skills and Competencies: Project Management, Planning, Strategic Planning, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Program Management Qualities and Traits: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently Working Conditions: Office-based with occasional onsite visits to warehouses DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Facility Operations: Direct and manage all inbound, outbound, warehousing, and inventory management processes to ensure high efficiency and accuracy. Client & Account Management: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for 3PL clients, ensuring SLAs and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met or exceeded. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise warehouse supervisors, coordinators, and floor staff, fostering a culture of accountability and safety. Process Optimization: Implement continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean or Six Sigma) to reduce operational costs and maximize storage capacity and throughput. Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to OSHA guidelines, facility safety standards, and local regulatory requirements. Reporting & Budgeting: Monitor operational budgets, analyze financial performance metrics, and prepare regular reports on productivity and resource utilization.
