JOB SUMMARY The Branch Expansion Officer oversees the daily operations of an agricultural machineries dealership, including sales support, service operations, parts inventory, logistics, customer relations, branch administration, and after-sales performance. The role ensures that tractors, harvesters, implements, and other farm equipment are delivered, serviced, documented, and supported efficiently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Dealership Operations Management Manage day-to-day dealership operations, including showroom, warehouse, workshop, and field service activities. Ensure smooth coordination between sales, service, parts, logistics, finance, and admin teams. Monitor branch performance, operational expenses, manpower productivity, and customer service quality. Implement dealership policies, standard operating procedures, and compliance requirements. 2. Sales and Customer Support Support the sales team in product availability, unit preparation, delivery schedules, and customer requirements. Coordinate demonstrations, product orientation, and handover of agricultural machinery. Help manage key customer accounts such as farmers, cooperatives, LGUs, contractors, and agri-business clients. Ensure proper documentation for sales, financing, warranty, and delivery. 3. After-Sales Service Management Oversee preventive maintenance, warranty repairs, field service requests, and emergency breakdown response. Monitor service job orders, technician productivity, repair turnaround time, and customer satisfaction. Ensure proper diagnosis, repair quality, and release inspection of units. Maintain service records for tractors, harvesters, planters, tillers, trailers, pumps, and other farm equipment. 4. Parts and Inventory Control Manage parts stock levels, fast-moving parts, critical parts, and slow-moving inventory. Coordinate with suppliers and principals for parts ordering, warranty claims, and technical support. Ensure accurate inventory records, stock movement, receiving, issuance, and physical counts. Reduce parts shortages that affect repair completion and customer satisfaction. 5. Unit Receiving, PDI, and Delivery Supervise receiving inspection of incoming agricultural machinery and attachments. Ensure completion of Pre-Delivery Inspection , testing, cleaning, documentation, and customer orientation. Coordinate delivery schedules, hauling arrangements, permits, and site readiness. Ensure delivered units are complete with manuals, tools, warranty documents, and accessories. 6. Team Leadership Lead sales coordinators, service advisors, technicians, parts personnel, warehouse staff, drivers, and admin support. Set team targets, monitor performance, and conduct coaching or corrective action when needed. Prepare manpower schedules for workshop, field service, deliveries, and seasonal demand. Promote discipline, safety, accountability, and professional customer handling. 7. Compliance, Safety, and Reporting Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, warranty procedures, and regulatory requirements. Monitor tools, equipment, company vehicles, and dealership assets. Prepare regular operations reports covering sales support, service performance, inventory, expenses, pending jobs, and customer issues. Recommend process improvements to improve efficiency and profitability. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in dealership operations, heavy equipment, trucks, automotive, agricultural machinery, or related industry. At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role . Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery, after-sales service, parts operations, and branch management. Experience handling technicians, warehouse personnel, drivers, service advisors, and admin staff. Good leadership, problem-solving, customer service, and coordination skills. Knowledge of warranty processing, PDI, inventory control, and service job order systems is an advantage. The role requires regular coordination with sales, service, parts, logistics, suppliers, customers, and farm-based clients. The position may involve exposure to agricultural machinery, heavy equipment, tools, lubricants, dust, noise, and outdoor working conditions during unit inspections, demonstrations, deliveries, and field service visits. The Operations Manager may also be required to travel to customer farms, project sites, service locations, and supplier facilities. Work may extend beyond regular office hours during peak sales seasons, urgent service concerns, equipment deliveries, product demonstrations, or customer emergencies. Proper safety practices, use of personal protective equipment, and compliance with company and workshop safety standards are required at all times.
