Verify patient details, demographics, doctor consultation, investigations, procedures and applicable charges. Generate accurate OPD bills, invoices, receipts and payment acknowledgements . Collect cash, card, UPI and other approved modes of payment and ensure proper reconciliation. Apply correct hospital tariff, discounts, packages, concessions and corporate/insurance rates as per authorization. Verify eligibility and required documents for corporate, insurance, CGHS, ECHS and other schemes , wherever applicable. Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, diagnostics, pharmacy, insurance, corporate desk and accounts/finance teams for billing-related issues. Process credit/authorized OPD cases according to approved MOU, package and tariff guidelines . Ensure all services availed by the patient are correctly captured and billed. Handle billing corrections, cancellations, refunds and adjustments according to hospital policy and approval procedures. Resolve patient and attendant queries related to charges, bills, payments and discounts professionally. Maintain daily cash collection, billing and transaction records and submit reports to the concerned department.
