We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager / Senior Store Manager from the local men’s kandoura and tailoring industry to oversee our boutiques in Dubai and Abu Dhabi . This is not a general retail management position. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of the UAE kandoura market , local customer preferences, tailoring operations, and sales, with an existing customer network and proven relationships with local clients . Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of both Dubai and Abu Dhabi boutiques . Supervise and manage sales staff, tailors, and other store employees. Take responsibility for sales performance, customer service, and store KPIs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new local customers. Bring and develop an existing customer database/network within the UAE local men’s kandoura market . Manage the complete tailoring cycle, including measurements, fittings, alterations, production, quality control, and delivery. Ensure accurate customer measurements and proper follow-up on orders. Advise customers on kandoura fabrics, styles, cuts, colours, and tailoring requirements. Monitor fabric, accessories, and finished-goods inventory. Coordinate between the two stores and ensure smooth workflow and staff coverage. Train, supervise, and motivate the team. Handle customer complaints and resolve service issues professionally. Monitor sales, customer retention, repeat business, and staff performance. Report regularly to management on sales, customer activity, operational issues, and opportunities for growth. Visit and manage both locations as required. Requirements Mandatory: Strong UAE experience in local men’s kandoura tailoring and sales. Proven experience managing a kandoura/tailoring shop or boutique in the UAE. Strong existing local customer network/database is highly preferred. Proven ability to generate sales through personal customer relationships and referrals. Strong knowledge of kandoura fabrics, measurements, tailoring, fittings, and production. Experience managing tailors and sales staff. Previous experience managing more than one branch/store is an advantage. Strong understanding of UAE local customers and their expectations. Excellent communication and customer relationship skills. Arabic and English preferred. Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills. UAE driving licence is preferred. Important Candidates from general fashion retail, ready-made garments, or unrelated tailoring businesses will not be considered unless they have direct UAE experience in local men’s kandoura tailoring and sales. The successful candidate should be capable of managing both Dubai and Abu Dhabi operations , while actively developing sales through an established customer network. Track sales, monitor KPIs, and report performance to management. Requirements: Proven experience in local men’s kandoura tailoring and sales. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of fabrics, tailoring workflows, and traditional men’s clothing. Excellent customer service and communication skills (Arabic & English preferred).
