Odoo Developer & IT specialist

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Odoo Developer & IT Specialist to manage, develop, customise and maintain the company's Odoo ERP system while providing day-to-day IT support across the organisation.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Odoo development, ERP implementation, Python programming, system integrations, database management and general IT infrastructure support. The role requires someone who can streamline business processes, improve system performance and ensure the smooth functioning of the company's IT operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Odoo Development & ERP Management

• Develop, customise and maintain Odoo modules based on business requirements.
• Configure and manage Odoo applications, including CRM, Sales, Accounting, HR, Inventory, Purchase and Project Management.
• Develop custom workflows, reports, dashboards and automated business processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Odoo functional and technical issues.
• Manage Odoo upgrades, system configurations and module integrations.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications, websites and other business systems.
• Optimise system performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Work closely with different departments to understand their requirements and implement suitable ERP solutions.
• Provide user training and prepare system documentation.

1. IT Support & Infrastructure

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software and network-related issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Manage company email accounts, Microsoft 365 and user access permissions.
• Maintain office networks, Wi-Fi, servers and IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot connectivity and technical issues.
• Manage data backups, recovery procedures and IT security measures.
• Ensure antivirus protection, software updates and system maintenance.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required.
• Maintain IT asset records and software licensing documentation.

1. IT Security & System Administration

• Implement and maintain IT security policies and access controls.
• Ensure regular data backups and business continuity procedures.
• Monitor system vulnerabilities and address potential security risks.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights across company systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of company information.

1. Business Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes through Odoo.
• Work with management and department heads to improve operational efficiency.
• Recommend suitable technology solutions to support business growth.
• Ensure effective integration between different departments and business functions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Odoo development and IT support.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo ERP architecture and customisation.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Odoo module development, API integrations and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows operating systems and networking.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, data backup and IT infrastructure management.
