Boosted by investment and resource from the In Vino Group, our sights are firmly set on introducing extra:ordinary wines from across the world to Independent retailers and Wholesalers. What’s the job in a nutshell? You will be responsible for owning and growing a portfolio of accounts, delivering profitable, sustainable wine sales across multiple sites and channels. You will open doors to new customers, deepen relationships with existing partners, and work with them to grow their wine category through insight-led ranges, training and activation. As part of the account management team, you will contribute to and deliver the commercial strategy, ensuring we hit volume, value and margin targets while championing Moreno within our customers’ organisations. What will this involve? Building and owning joint business plans with key wholesalers and retailers, with clear volume, value and margin objectives. Full P&L management of your account portfolio, including pricing, investment, rebates and promotional spend. Working cross-functionally with own production, supply chain, marketing and finance to ensure brilliant execution, availability and service for key customers. Identifying and converting new business opportunities across the northern independent sector. Designing and delivering wine training and events to help customers increase their wine sales. Building strong relationships with key decision makers across organisations. Accurately forecasting, pipeline management and reporting on performance versus target.Representing Moreno at key industry events, tastings and customer engagements. More specifically: Strong people skills, with the ability to instigate and build long-term relationships at all levels within complex organisations. Proven experience managing accounts. Commercially sharp, comfortable with P&L ownership, pricing, margin management and investment decisions. Reliable and organised- you deliver on promises and can juggle multiple projects. Graft – self-motivated, determined, competitive and resilient in the face of setbacks. Able to think outside the box, using initiative to develop new opportunities for growth and creative customer solutions. A genuine passion for vino and hospitality- your love of wine and service is infectious. A team player who fits into a close-knit, fast-moving business, supporting others and stepping up to lead when needed.
