# NOC Data Center Engineer **Commsec Inc** · Taguig · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 13 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary The NOC Data Center Engineer is responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining data center infrastructure and network systems to ensure high availability, reliability, security, and optimal performance. The role involves real-time monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, escalation, and coordination with technical teams and service providers. Key Responsibilities - Monitor data center systems, network devices, servers, and critical infrastructure using NOC monitoring tools. - Perform first-level troubleshooting and resolution of network, server, connectivity, and system-related incidents. - Monitor alarms, alerts, system performance, and environmental conditions within the data center. - Respond promptly to incidents, outages, and service degradation in accordance with established SLA requirements. - Perform routine health checks and operational checks of network and data center equipment. - Escalate unresolved or critical incidents to the appropriate technical teams and vendors. - Coordinate with Network, Systems, IT, Facilities, and other technical teams during incidents and maintenance activities. - Maintain accurate incident, event, and maintenance records, including shift handover reports. - Monitor and document scheduled maintenance, system changes, and service interruptions. - Follow approved SOPs, work instructions, security policies, and data center operational procedures. - Assist in preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of network and IT equipment. - Support remote hands activities, including equipment inspection, cable checking, device rebooting, and visual verification when required. - Ensure proper access control, safety, security, and housekeeping procedures are followed within the data center. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports as required. - Participate in 24/7 shifting schedules, on-call support, and emergency response activities when required. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. - At least 1–3 years of experience in NOC, Data Center Operations, Network Operations, IT Infrastructure, or a related technical environment. - Knowledge of basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, and routing. - Familiarity with network monitoring and ticketing systems. - Basic knowledge of servers, operating systems, and data center infrastructure. - Ability to interpret network/system alarms and perform initial troubleshooting. - Knowledge of data center safety, security, and operational procedures is an advantage. - Willing to work on a 24/7 shifting schedule , including weekends and holidays. - Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Able to work under pressure and respond effectively to critical incidents. - Willing to assign in taguig - can start asap Benefits: - Company Christmas gift - Company events Experience: - noc engineer: 4 years (Preferred) - data center project: 4 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
