Night Shift Manager - Warehouse Operations

The Role The Night Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the night shift operation at our Liverpool sites. The role will provide vital operational leadership with a diverse selection of challenging and varied responsibilities. These include; managing the night shift operations process, performance improvement, operational planning and continuous improvement, all in a safe and compliant environment. The Night Shift Manager will lead and manage a team of supervisors to achieve maximum results for our customer base and Jenkins. Essential Skills & Experience Evidence of professional development in an operational environment Recent experience in either; a junior operational management role in a large scale warehouse, or operational management in a smaller scale warehouse in a service focused and fast paced environment; Experience of operational roles primarily in an inbound warehouse environment; Experience of inbound cargo planning and effective resourcing of full operational shift (day or night); A successful track record of delivering through effective people management skills; A successful track record of delivering team KPI’s in a health and safety led environment; Experience of operating in a continuous improvement type environment; Experience of and working knowledge of a WMS for business improvement and practices; · Have an excellent and professional communication style and the ability to deal with a range of audiences.
