NF Commercial Operations Manager
Salary: $130,000-$145,000 per year Radius Recycling is looking for an experienced NF Commercial Operations Manager to lead buying strategy, supplier development, pricing guidance, and commercial performance for non-ferrous metals and alloys across the region. This is a high impact leadership role for someone who understands the metal recycling industry from the ground up. You'll work closely with buyers, operations leaders, and the national sales organization to drive material flow, strengthen supplier relationships, improve margins, and support regional growth. If you have experience buying non-ferrous metals, developing supplier networks, managing inventory positions, and navigating changing commodity markets, we'd like to talk with you. What You'll Do Lead regional non-ferrous purchasing and commercial activities Develop and execute strategies to grow inbound material volumes Support regional buying plans, inventory objectives, and margin performance Provide pricing guidance and market intelligence to buyers and facility teams Build and strengthen relationships with suppliers and key accounts Monitor inventory positions, shipments, quality, and profitability Partner with operations teams to improve processing, grading, and material upgrades Conduct regular visits to facilities throughout the region Coach and develop buying teams Collaborate with commercial and sales leadership to maximize business results What We're Looking For 7-10 years of scrap metal recycling industry experience Strong knowledge of non-ferrous metals and alloys Hands-on experience identifying, grading, and purchasing non-ferrous materials Yard-level experience within a recycling operation Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and leadership skills Ability to analyze pricing, inventory, and market conditions Proficiency with Microsoft Office Valid driver's license Regional market knowledge preferred Spanish language skills are a plus We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Paid time off starting with your first paycheck Paid holidays Work Environment This position combines office, field, and recycling yard environments.
