In this role, you will be stationed full-time at our local site to manage daily network health, perform initial routing and switching troubleshooting, handle hardware/cabling requests, and ensure seamless LAN/WAN connectivity across our office environment during standard business hours. Key Responsibilities - On-Site Operations & Monitoring: Provide dedicated on-site network support during regular business hours, monitoring local routers, switches, and network lines. - L1 Incident Management: Act as the first point of contact for local network issues, logging tickets, performing basic troubleshooting, and resolving first-line network connectivity requests. - Routing & Switching Support: Perform basic configuration checks, VLAN tagging, switch port provisioning, interface status verification, and physical cable troubleshooting/patching. - Hardware Maintenance & Patching: Conduct routine physical checks of network racks, hardware inventory, and patch panel management within the local server room/MDF/IDF closets. - Escalation & Escalation Tracking: Swiftly escalate complex routing, switching, or security issues to L2/L3 engineering teams and track them through to resolution. - Vendor Coordination: Work closely with local Indonesian Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and equipment vendors to address physical line outages and RMA replacements. Required Skills & Qualifications - Certification: Active Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is required. - Work Availability: Ability to work 100% on-site in Jakarta on an 8-hour daily schedule, 5 days per week (40 hours/week). - Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. - Technical Skills: - Solid understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, Subnetting, and IP Addressing. - Hands-on familiarity with Cisco IOS, core routing, and switching protocols (Static Routing, OSPF, VLANs, STP, NAT, DHCP). - Hands-on skill with physical networking equipment, Ethernet patching, and rack/stack tasks. - Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in network support or IT technician roles (Fresh graduates holding an active CCNA are welcome to apply). - Language Requirements: - Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written). - Professional working proficiency in English (for logging tickets, reading documentation, and communicating with regional escalation teams).
