You will monitor network operations, troubleshoot connectivity issues, support network projects, and help protect our systems from potential security threats. This is a great opportunity for a network professional who enjoys problem-solving, infrastructure, and keeping critical systems running smoothly. Responsibilities - Plan, design, and deploy LAN, WAN, wireless, and VPN network solutions . - Monitor network performance, capacity, traffic, and overall availability. - Implement and maintain network security and monitoring solutions . - Provide Level 2 support for network issues and escalate complex concerns when necessary. - Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, configurations, inventory, and cabling records . - Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to support business growth. - Establish and maintain network standards, procedures, and change guidelines . - Provide technical guidance and coaching to Level 1 support and IT team members . - Maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and connectivity troubleshooting documentation. - Perform network configuration backups and support scheduled network maintenance and reboots. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field preferred. - Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and STP . - Knowledge of wireless technologies , including Wi-Fi 6 and 5G. - Experience with Cisco network devices, routers, switches, wireless systems, and firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point. - Familiarity with IDS/IPS, NAC, Zero Trust, DDoS protection, SSL/TLS, and IPSec . - Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell ; experience with automation tools is an advantage. - Strong network troubleshooting and monitoring skills. - Knowledge of network security, risk mitigation, and cybersecurity best practices . - Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Dependable, adaptable, and able to work effectively with IT teams and external stakeholders .
