Job Title: Remote Network Administrator

Location: Remote (U.S. Only) Job Type: Full-time Salary: $120,000 $150,000 per year (based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to manage and maintain our companys IT network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure network security, performance, and reliability , while troubleshooting issues and optimizing systems. This is a fully remote position, but applicants must be based in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software .
• Monitor network performance and security , ensuring uptime and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, firewall, and VPN issues .
• Manage user access, permissions, and security protocols .
• Perform regular network maintenance, updates, and backups .
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices .
• Collaborate with IT teams to support server and cloud infrastructure .
• Document network configurations and create reports on network performance .

Required Qualifications:

- 1+ years of experience in network administration, IT support, or a related role.

• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking .
• Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment .
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and network monitoring tools .
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices .
• Ability to troubleshoot network outages and performance issues .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CISSP .
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) .
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) .
• Familiarity with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) .
