# NDT Engineer- Level III **CAT International** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We are looking for an experienced NDT Engineer – Level III with strong experience in Oil & Gas projects, preferably ADNOC projects . The candidate will be responsible for overseeing non-destructive testing activities, developing and reviewing NDT procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and client requirements, and providing technical support to NDT personnel and project teams. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical supervision and expertise for NDT activities on Oil & Gas projects. - Develop, review, approve, and qualify NDT procedures and techniques in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. - Review NDT reports, inspection results, procedures, and technical documentation. - Provide technical guidance to Level I and Level II NDT personnel and ensure testing is performed correctly. - Coordinate NDT activities with QA/QC, construction, welding, engineering, and client inspection teams . - Ensure NDT activities comply with project specifications, approved procedures, ITPs, and applicable international standards. - Interpret and evaluate NDT indications and determine the acceptability of results in accordance with applicable acceptance criteria. - Support the selection of appropriate NDT methods based on material, component, welding process, and inspection requirements. - Monitor the quality and performance of NDT subcontractors and service providers. - Investigate NDT-related quality issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions. - Prepare and review NDT technical reports, inspection records, and documentation for project handover. - Participate in client inspections, audits, technical meetings, and quality reviews. - Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and traceability of NDT equipment and consumables. - Maintain compliance with relevant HSE requirements during all inspection activities. NDT Methods: Experience in applicable NDT methods such as: - Radiographic Testing (RT) - Ultrasonic Testing (UT) - Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) - Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) - Visual Testing (VT) - Advanced NDT methods such as PAUT/TOFD will be an advantage. Requirements: - Bachelor's/Diploma in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline . - Valid NDT Level III certification in relevant methods. - Proven experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, pipeline, piping, fabrication, or construction projects . - Strong experience working with ADNOC projects or ADNOC specifications is highly preferred. - Good knowledge of applicable ASME, API, AWS, ISO, ASTM, and project-specific standards . - Strong understanding of welding inspection and NDT requirements. - Experience in reviewing NDT procedures, techniques, reports, and inspection documentation. - Good communication and coordination skills with clients, contractors, and project teams. - Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership to NDT personnel. Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in ADNOC Oil & Gas projects, pipeline/piping construction, fabrication yards, offshore/onshore facilities, and EPC projects will be preferred.
