We are looking for a creative, hands-on, and organized Multimedia Produce r to lead the end-to-end production of engaging video content for Rebel Girls. In this role, your primary mission is getting great content made — spearheading remote shoots, directing young and/or green on-camera talent, and producing high-quality video and audio assets that resonate with our audience and can be adapted into dynamic social clips.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Video Production: Ideate, plan, produce, and deliver high-quality video content from concept to final cut, ensuring all assets align with Rebel Girls' brand standards, mission, and visual style.
• Remote Filming & Production: Manage and facilitate seamless remote shoots and recordings using tools such as Zencastr, or similar remote capture software.
• Directing Young Talent: Direct and produce content featuring children, ensuring shoots are engaging, encouraging, safe, and fun, while capturing natural, compelling performances.
• Social-Ready Deliverables: Deliver polished master video cuts designed with modularity in mind, ensuring content can be easily clipped and formatted by content and social teams.
• Audio & Multimedia Support: Oversee accompanying audio capture and post-production for brand assets and support podcast production workflows as needed, including microphone and recording setup, light audio editing and mixing, sound quality optimization, and final audio delivery across our multimedia slate.
• Project Workflow & Coordination: Manage production schedules, any necessary project releases, asset uploads and handoffs, media management, and feedback loops across internal editorial, social, and design teams.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Must-Haves:

• Demonstrated Video Production Experience: Proven track record producing short & mid-form video content from pre-production through final export in a fast-paced environment.
• Remote Production Proficiency: Deep comfort setting up and managing remote video/audio capture sessions (e.g., Zencastr, Riverside.fm, or equivalent platforms) and troubleshooting talent setups.
• Experience Working with Children: Prior professional experience producing, interviewing, or directing young children and youth talent is essential.
• Editing & Post-Production Skills: Proficiency with industry-standard editing software and sound design/cleanup tools.
• Collaboration & Communication: Clear, empathetic communication style with the ability to put young creators and remote guests at ease.

Nice-to-Haves / Pluses:

• Podcast Production: Prior experience in podcast production or dedicated audio engineering is a strong plus.
• Social Content Savvy: A strong familiarity with pacing, hooks, and formats for platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
