About the role You will join the Manufacturing Test Engineering (MTE) Software team as MTE Software engineer, responsible for building the sophisticated tooling that allows our systems to provide the highest quality service. You will design and implement world-class Continuous Integration and Deployment frameworks. You will treat our internal infrastructure as a product, developing high-performance internal tools, APIs, and utilities to automate complex operational logic. You will be in charge in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and build self-healing systems and automated remediation workflows that detect and fix issues before a human ever sees an alert. Your work will be key to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the process. The MTE Software Team at Ampere Computing is a group of dedicated professionals committed to delivering high-quality products while collaborating closely with manufacturing and engineering teams in a dynamic and engaging environment. What you'll achieve - Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines: - - Design, build, and continuously improve high-performance deployment pipelines that enable fast, reliable, and repeatable software delivery. - Eliminate manual effort by codifying infrastructure, configuration, and operational processes. Manage globally distributed environments using version-controlled, reproducible, and immutable Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Drive automation and develop internal engineering tools/utilities: - - Building APIs, automation tools, dashboards, telemetry, distributed tracing, monitoring, automated alerting, and self-service capabilities that empower test development and production teams to manage infrastructure efficiently. - Replicate complex customer environments to support comprehensive system integration, deployment validation, and stability testing. - Ensure cybersecurity and compliance: Design and operate systems that meet or exceed applicable global security standards, policies, and compliance requirements. - Production support: Support escalations and reliability improvements: Troubleshoot failures across distributed systems, perform in-depth root cause analyses, and implement permanent code- and system-level improvements to prevent recurrence. - Mentor and support engineers: Share technical knowledge, mentor team members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices. - Embed DevOps practices: Partner with test development and production engineering teams to implement DevOps methodologies, processes, and tooling throughout the software delivery lifecycle. - Support additional strategic initiatives: Contribute to other technical projects and initiatives assigned by the manager. About you - Min 2 years of experience in system development, integration engineering, or QA automation. - Solid experience in continuous integration/ continuous deployment (CI/CD) process and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab CI). - Proficient in Linux, Python, Java and/or C++ programming skills. - Experience with distributed systems, observability platforms, automated testing, and deployment orchestration. - Experience with version control systems: GIT and SVN - Practical Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) - Practical knowledge in network protocols (including DHCP, FTP, SFTP), network concepts such as HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, VPN, firewalls and load balancers. - Have strong analytical, data-analysis and problem-solving skills. - Strong Agile and DevOps experience in complex integrated environments. - Hands-on experience with development with Advantest V93000 (V93K) SmartTest8 ATE platform is a distinct advantage. - Experience in developing simulators tools. Knowledge of emulator tools is a plus. - Experience supporting an organization or project assessed against ISO 9001 requirements is a plus. - Experience working on products or engineering processes aligned with ISO 26262, preferably in software development, system integration, automated testing, or release and deployment engineering is a plus. - Good written and communication skill in English and Vietnamese. - Willing to learn and research new technology or jump out of your comfort zone. - Good teamwork with ability to work independently. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/ Software Engineer/ Computer Engineering, or related field.
