The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring tooling performance, mold quality, production efficiency, and continuous improvement while assisting in managing the tooling team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong technical expertise in plastic injection molds, particularly within the automotive and electronics manufacturing sectors. Key Responsibilities Mold Tooling Management Oversee mold preparation, maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, and repair activities. Ensure molds are maintained in optimal condition to support production requirements. Monitor mold performance and recommend improvements to maximize efficiency and mold lifespan. Technical Review & Problem Solving Review, interpret, and validate mold drawings, tooling designs, and product specifications. Analyze molding defects and tooling-related issues during trials and mass production. Develop corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and process reliability. Production Support Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. Provide technical guidance during mold testing, startup, and production runs. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce downtime. Leadership & Coordination Assist the Section Manager in supervising tooling personnel and daily operations. Coordinate with external mold makers, suppliers, and contractors regarding tooling projects and repairs. Monitor tooling schedules and ensure projects are completed within target timelines. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in Plastic Injection Mold Tooling , preferably in automotive or electronics manufacturing. Strong knowledge of mold construction, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret mold drawings and technical specifications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills in English. Preferred Experience working in a Japanese manufacturing company. Experience handling and supervising technical teams. Background in process improvement and tooling optimization. Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
