# Modern Workplace Engineer **Darwinbox** · Cairo · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 12 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Description Role Overview The Modern Workplace Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and operating Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions with a strong focus on identity, endpoint management, data security, threat protection, and Microsoft Copilot. This role plays a key part in driving secure productivity and AI-enabled collaboration by leveraging Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Microsoft Copilot (M365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, and Security Copilot). The engineer works closely with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable modern workplace solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Designing, implementing, and maintaining MWP solutions such as (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business) - Designing, implementing, and maintaining Entra ID, M365 Defender Suite, M365 Purview, and Intune. - Deliver Workshops for M365 Copilot and Copilot chat that derive the Copilot Adoption. - Work closely with the customer to deliver Data Security and threat protection workshops. - Work on MWP migration projects such as Tenant-to-tenant migration or Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 tenant Migration - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft 365 services and other workplace technologies. - Maintain current knowledge of security trends, technologies, and best practices around Microsoft solutions. - Continually learn and grow professionally. - Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that enhance collaboration and productivity. - Develop and maintain documentation related to configurations, policies, and procedures for modern workplace technologies. - Provide technical support and user training for modern workplace solutions to ensure optimal adoption and usage. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the workplace infrastructure is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance. - Key Competencies: - Expertise in Microsoft 365 services and cloud collaboration tools - Demonstrable experience and knowledge with the architecture, design, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 products and solutions such as: - Entra ID. - Intune (MAM/ MDM). - Microsoft Defender for Office 365 - Microsoft Defender for Identity - Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps - Microsoft Defender for Endpoints - Defender XDR - Microsoft Information Protection. - Data Loss Prevention - Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions - Ability to communicate with a variety of different audiences and strong presentation skills. - Ability to quickly build relationships and credibility with customers. - A passion for learning about and experimenting with new technologies. - Confidence in creating and delivering technical presentations and training. - Ability to effectively recognize and adapt to change. Confidence to hold difficult conversations at all levels. - Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelor’s degree in communication engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology or a related field. - 2 to 4 years experience in same role - Relevant Microsoft cloud security certifications such as: - SC-900 (Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals). - SC-200 (Microsoft Security Operations Analyst). - SC-300 (Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator). - SC-401 (Microsoft Information Security Administrator). - SC-100 (Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect) - MS-101 (Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert). - MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator). - MD-102 (Microsoft Endpoint Administrator) - AB-900 (Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals) - ITIL Foundation Certification - CompTIA Security+ #LinkedInJobs
