Job snapshot You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, training and quality oversight for Mobility products and assembly activities. The role will ensure that the warehouse Mobility assembly team has the appropriate product knowledge, documented processes and practical support to deliver safe, accurate and high-quality customer solutions. You will support the assembly of the Mobility deliveries, ensuring products are assembled to the correct specification, ensuring technical, quality and safety processes are adhered to. Working closely with the Warehouse Facility Manager and all departments to streamline mobility systems and processes with continuous improvement, while improving visibility of technical work and deliveries. Candidate Location : On site in our Dublin office Responsibilities: Technical product knowledge training - Develop, maintain and deliver internal technical training for the warehouse mobility assembly team. - Create and maintain training materials, work instructions, assembly guides and technical reference documents. - Assess and support the competency of team members undertaking mobility assembly work, identifying development and training needs. - Act as a key point of contact for mobility related assembly queries, troubleshooting and product specific support and guidance. Mobility Assembly - Oversee quality checks on Mobility assembly work to ensure products are assembled accurately, safely and inline with approved specifications, supplier and internal procedures. - Support the assembly of supplier mobility deliveries, ensuring all required components, specifications technical instructions are applied correctly. - Promote a right first-time approach to assembly and delivery preparation. While ensuring processes, documentation and records are completed accurately and retained as required. - Identify recurring quality issues and areas of technical risk, escalating to the Warehouse Facility Manager and support corrective actions. Systems, processes and continuous improvement - Work closely with the Warehouse Facility Manager to standardise and streamline system, workflows and processes for the mobility products. - Support to ensure visibility of technical, assembly and delivery related status, including work in progress, outstanding issues and completion. - Support the development maintenance of SOP’s for mobility assembly, quality control, technical checks and delivery. - Support continuous improvement activities and monitor effectiveness. Cross functional support - Liaise with suppliers, customer service and/or all internal departments to resolve assembly/technical related queries. Providing feedback on recurring product, quality processes issues. - Support the planning and prioritisation of mobility assembly activities ensuring agreed SLA’s and delivery requirements. - Maintain accurate records and provide updates on training, quality checks, technical issues and improvements What are the role requirements? - Experience in technical assembly, product support, service or training role. Ideally with mobility, or healthcare medical devices. - Demonstrable knowledge of assembly processes, technical specifications and quality control practices - Competent user of Microsoft office relevant work management systems. - Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand, interpret and apply product specifications and assembly instructions. - Ability to train, coach and support warehouse assembly team. - Excellent attention to detail, with a strong commitment to quality, safety and accurate documentation. - Problem solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
