# Mine Planning Engineer **Makilala Mining Company Inc.** · Taguig · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 9 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Task/Responsibilities: · Lead the development and periodic updates of short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans aligned with project milestones, safety standards, and operational targets. · Interpret geological models, resource estimates, and geotechnical inputs to generate mine designs and production schedules using appropriate software (e.g., Deswik, Surpac, Minesched). · Work closely with the geotechnical, hydrogeological, and processing teams to integrate technical parameters into robust mine designs and schedules. · Assist in the development and delivery of the MCB Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), Updated Feasibility Study (FS), and other technical documents providing detailed planning outputs and sensitivity analyses and ensuring completion of outcomes within the project timeframe and in accordance with the Philippine Mining laws and regulations, and other applicable principles and standards. · Analyze operational scenarios, identify risks and bottlenecks, and recommend mine planning solutions to support efficient project execution. · Assist in the overall project development execution, including all field activities and documentation. · Act as a technical resource representing the company during internal and external stakeholder technical meetings/presentations or interfaces with relevant national government agencies. · Collaborate with third-party contractors, ensuring alignment with approved scopes, timelines, and safety and environmental standards. · Support permitting and regulatory submissions by providing technical data, maps, and documentation required under DENR, MGB, and EMB regulations. · Work closely with the project team to develop and maintain an overall project schedule foreseeing typical risks, challenges, delays, and cost implications, and recommending solutions to overcome potential problem areas. · Utilize demonstrated best industry practices, techniques, and standards throughout the execution of required deliverables. · Assist in the technical requirements of affiliate projects, such as the exploration-related activities for the Botilao project, as needed. · Perform other duties as may be required by the Chief Operations Officer in good faith or in the interest of the project, business, or as the COMPANY requires. Qualifications: · Registered Mining Engineer · With at least 5 years of work experience in the mining industry · Knowledgeable in MS Office (Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) · Can operate AutoCAD and Mining Software/s such as Deswik / Surpac / Gemcom / Minesched · Has sound knowledge of Philippine mining and environmental laws and regulations · Must have experience with environmental and safety management/documentation · Having experience or background in DENR-EMB-MGB reportorial requirements, documentation, and processes is an advantage. · With good writing and communication skills Qualifications: · Registered Mining Engineer · With at least 5 years of work experience in the mining industry · Knowledgeable in MS Office (Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) · Can operate AutoCAD and Mining Software/s such as Deswik / Surpac / Gemcom / Minesched · Has sound knowledge of Philippine mining and environmental laws and regulations · Must have experience with environmental and safety management/documentation · Having experience or background in DENR-EMB-MGB reportorial requirements, documentation, and processes is an advantage. · With good writing and communication skills · Able to perform fielding activities and onsite assignments Benefits: - Health insurance - Life insurance - Paid training - Promotion to permanent employee Work Location: In person
