# Mid Full Stack Developer/ API /C#/ Back End 3-6 years experience **Fiduciary Technology Partners** · Remote · `Remote` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role About us FidTech Partners builds the software community foundations and philanthropic organizations use to run their funds, gifts, grants, donor relationships and reporting. We have three products: FoundationHub for foundation staff, DonorSphere for their donors, and GranteeSphere, which ships its first release in October. When a foundation approves a grant or sends a donor a quarterly statement, our software is doing it. That's real money and real donor data, so getting the number right matters more than shipping fast. The role Most of our development happens in this role, and we're hiring more than one person for it.Three to six years in, you may be building features someone else has already designed. Here, a feature is yours from the vague-idea stage. You work out what it needs to do, design it, build the API and the screen, test it properly, and explain it afterwards. Nobody hands you a finished spec. If that's what you want at this stage, read on. What you'd work on - GranteeSphere (launching in October) is our newest product. It includes a drag-and-drop builder for grant application forms, a workflow designer for reviewing applications, and AI-assisted scoring. The stack is ASP.NET Core 10 on the back end, and React 18 with strict TypeScript on the front end, using Vite, Redux Toolkit/RTK Query, Tailwind, Zod, Storybook, Vitest and Playwright. It was built from scratch this year, so it's still small enough to hold in your head. - FoundationHub is a twenty-year-old Classic ASP application full of hard-won financial logic. We're moving it to React and .NET one screen at a time while foundations use it every day. - SQL Server and T-SQL sit under both products, and a lot of our most interesting problems live in the database. What we're looking for - Roughly 3–6 years building web applications professionally. If you're a bit outside that range, apply anyway. - C#/.NET: you've built and maintained REST APIs. - React and TypeScript: real component and state work, including good judgment about how a screen should behave when data is slow, missing or wrong. - SQL beyond SELECT: stored procedures you'd be happy to maintain, tuning slow queries, and spotting joins that double-count. - You test your own work before QA sees it, and you can say what you tested and what you didn't. - You use AI development tools every day. We use Claude across the team, and we'll ask how you use it. - You write clearly about what you changed, what you weren't sure of, and what others should watch for. - You care about being right. Someone's endowment is in that number. If you're strong in Java, Node, Python or similar and have switched stacks before, apply. We'd rather hire a good developer who's learning C# than an average one who already knows it. Nice to have - Azure (Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, App Configuration), or a real wish to learn it - SQL Server depth: execution plans, indexing, untangling old stored procedures - Changing a legacy system gradually without downtime - Unit, component or end-to-end testing you actually believe in - Fintech, nonprofit, regulated-industry or accounting background - Mentoring someone, or writing documentation people actually used Where this goes We don't have a formal career ladder. People take on more and more ownership of an area. From there, the paths lead to technical leadership of a workstream, platform or infrastructure ownership, or becoming the deepest expert in the product and its domain. Which one depends on what you turn out to be good at. What we offer - Salary: $85-90k, depending on experience - 15 days PTO - Health, dental and vision, fully covered - 401(k) eligibility - Remote or hybrid, direct access to decision-makers, and work foundations visibly use How to apply A person reads every application. There's no keyword filter.Answer both questions below in a few sentences each. Any tools are fine, including Claude. We're checking that you understand your answer. Question 1. This query runs, but the totals are wrong. What's wrong, and how would you fix it?sqlSELECT f.FundName, SUM(g.Amount) AS TotalGranted FROM Funds f JOIN Grants g ON g.FundId = f.FundId JOIN Payments p ON p.GrantId = g.GrantId WHERE g.GrantDate BETWEEN '2026-01-01' AND '2026-03-31' AND f.Status = 'Active' GROUP BY f.FundName; Question 2. You've changed how an administration fee is calculated. It looks right and works when you try it. What do you do before handing it to QA? We'll come back to both answers in the interview, so write something you're happy to defend. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: - 401(k) matching - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Paid time off Compensation Package: - Performance bonus Application Question(s): - Have you worked with Crystal Reports? - Are you fine with being fingerprinted & drug tested (large financial institutions are clients and require this) - You've changed how an administration fee is calculated. It looks right and works when you try it. What do you do before handing it to QA? - Now for the real stuff - this query runs, but the totals are wrong. What's wrong, and how would you fix it?sqlSELECT f.FundName, SUM(g.Amount) AS TotalGranted FROM Funds f JOIN Grants g ON g.FundId = f.FundId JOIN Payments p ON p.GrantId = g.GrantId WHERE g.GrantDate BETWEEN '2026-01-01' AND '2026-03-31' AND f.Status = 'Active' GROUP BY f.FundName Work Location: Remote
