Microsoft Security Architect & Solution Owner, you join our Protect team to shape and improve Resilient Protect: an end-to-end security offering focused on continuously improving our clients’ security posture. We combine monitoring, security assessments, and threat intelligence to identify relevant risks and translate them into practical advice and prioritized improvement actions. These improvements are reinforced through security awareness and grounded in proven security best practices, with expert support available when incidents occur or recovery is needed. You take ownership of the solution’s vision, roadmap, and technical evolution, working closely with our security specialists and commercial colleagues. You ensure that the different service components work together to help clients continuously improve their cyber resilience. Your role combines solution ownership, client advisory, and technical leadership. You actively contribute to the Microsoft Security platforms and automation behind Protect, advise clients on their security priorities, and lead the technical delivery of improvement projects. YOUR JOB? Own the vision and roadmap for Resilient Protect. You translate client needs, operational feedback, threat developments, and market opportunities into clear priorities. You shape the service portfolio together with the team, follow up on delivery, and adjust the roadmap as needs evolve. Connect the different parts of Protect. You work with our specialists to ensure that security operations, threat intelligence, posture management, advisory, awareness, and incident support reinforce each other. Findings from daily operations should lead to relevant advice, better protection, and concrete improvement actions. Develop and improve the technical foundations.You work directly with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Azure DevOps, Jira automation, and our custom reporting portal. You improve integrations, detection use cases, response playbooks, and reporting, and build automation that makes service delivery reliable and scalable. Act as a trusted security advisor to clients.You review their security posture, discuss findings and risks, and maintain a practical security roadmap. Through service reviews and security committees, you help clients prioritize actions and follow up on progress. Lead security improvement projects.You translate recommendations into technical designs, guide implementation teams, and contribute directly where needed. You maintain technical oversight and ensure that improvements fit the client’s environment and can be supported within the service. Turn threat insights into improvements.Together with the team, you use threat intelligence and incident findings to refine detection coverage, preventive controls, response readiness, and awareness priorities. Support the commercial development of Protect.You work with sales and presales on client discussions, proposals, and RFPs. You explain the value of the offering and help define clear service scopes and commitments that our team can deliver. Measure and improve service performance.You follow up on client satisfaction, security outcomes, roadmap progress, operational efficiency, and commercial performance. You also evaluate new Microsoft Security capabilities and opportunities for AI and automation, testing their value before adopting them. WHO ARE YOU? You are an experienced security consultant or architect with strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Security. You understand how technical controls, security operations, governance, and people contribute to an organization’s resilience. You enjoy discussing security priorities with clients as much as designing solutions and working in the platforms to implement them. You want to take ownership of how a security solution evolves. You bring structure, make informed choices, and follow through on implementation. You balance security value with implementation effort, operational feasibility, and cost, and know when to involve colleagues with specialist expertise. You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and work fluently in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus. Core expertise you bring: Microsoft Sentinel: practical experience with SIEM architecture, data connectors, KQL, detection rules, incident handling, and automation. Microsoft Defender: strong working knowledge of the Defender ecosystem across endpoint, identity, email, cloud applications, and cloud workloads. Microsoft cloud security: experience assessing and improving security across Azure and Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, access controls, workload protection, and security posture management. Azure DevOps and automation: practical experience with backlog management, version control, and CI/CD pipelines, combined with scripting and API integrations to automate configuration and service delivery. Security architecture and operations: a solid understanding of threat detection, threat intelligence, incident response, and preventive controls, and the ability to translate these into workable designs and improvement plans. Client advisory and technical leadership: experience assessing security maturity, defining roadmaps, explaining trade-offs, and guiding clients and implementation teams towards concrete results. Technologies and knowledge areas you will encounter and further develop: Logic Apps, Azure Functions, PowerShell, and infrastructure as code. Jira workflows and automation, service integrations, and our custom reporting portal. Threat hunting, threat intelligence integration, and detection and response playbooks. Security awareness, phishing management, and the connection between human behaviour and technical protection. Incident readiness, forensics, and recovery, in collaboration with our specialists. Governance, risk, and compliance, including frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, and DORA. AI-assisted security operations and Microsoft’s AI tooling. Solution roadmaps, service reporting, and the operational and commercial aspects of managed security. Experience developing or improving services in an MSSP environment is a plus. Relevant Microsoft Security, Azure, DevOps, CISSP, or CISM certifications are also valuable. Formal product management experience is not required. WHY CONSIDERING?
