Mergers & Acquisitions Associate

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Associate to join our legal team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in supporting the entire lifecycle of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required.
• Proven experience in corporate law with a focus on mergers & acquisitions or transactional work.
• Strong knowledge of procedural law, statutory legal research methods, and legal case management tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to draft clear contracts and legal documents efficiently.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting legal research and preparing court depositions or trial materials.
• Exceptional writing skills with attention to detail in legal drafting and motion preparation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
• Effective client communication skills that foster trust and clarity throughout complex transactions.
