Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall merchandising activities from ordering and procurement execution, order placement, delivery follow-up to stocks’ allocation to stores

Coordinate with Head Office on cost, pricing, lead time, and order terms to ensure smooth order processing

Monitor replenishment, stock adjustments, and inventory allocation across warehouse and stores based on sales and inventory status

Efficient communication with different departments to follow up orders

Provide regular monthly and weekly performance reports

Analyze store inventory performance data, top sellers, products’ ranking from different stores to generate actionable insights to management

Adapt the Head Office and Regional merchandising guideline to fit the local markets

Trend monitoring, including analyses sales data and market trends

Business trip twice per year to Paris

Other ad hoc projects

Job Requirements:

Diploma / Degree holder with a minimum 3 years of buying experience in retail industry, preferably with luxury fashion experience

Familiar with software Anaplan and Cegid is a plus

Proficient in all Microsoft, especially in Excel applications

Proactive, figure sensitive and attentive to details

Strong analytical ability with excellent negotiation and communication skills

Excellent command in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
