# MEP Supervisor/Foreman **EMRALD ACE ELECTRO MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT LLC** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 8 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role About the Role We are seeking an experienced and hands-on MEP Supervisor to oversee the installation, daily operations, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across our Abu Dhabi projects. You will be responsible for leading technical teams and subcontractors, ensuring work complies with UAE/Abu Dhabi authority standards, HSE regulations, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities Site Supervision & Team Leadership * Supervise daily MEP installation, testing, maintenance, and repair activities. * Manage and allocate tasks to technicians, electricians, plumbers, HVAC specialists, and subcontractors. * Schedule and monitor manpower, tools, equipment, and material requirements to keep projects on schedule. * Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and restore services efficiently. System Oversight (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire & ELV) * Oversee HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, chilled-water/refrigerant systems, pumps, and ventilation. * Supervise electrical distribution, including main panels, DBs, lighting, and power systems. * Direct plumbing, drainage, water supply, and pump station operations. * Coordinate firefighting, fire alarm, ELV, and BMS works with specialist contractors and suppliers. Quality Control & Testing * Read, interpret, and enforce approved MEP drawings, shop drawings, schematics, and method statements. * Coordinate activities with civil, architectural, and structural trades to eliminate clashes and delays. * Conduct and supervise testing and commissioning procedures (e.g., flushing, pressure testing, electrical sequence testing, and system handover). * Schedule and lead formal inspections with QA/QC engineers, consultants, and clients. PPM, Material Management & Reporting * Plan and monitor Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules and log corrective actions. * Maintain daily work orders, site progress reports, equipment logs, and material tracking sheet. * Monitor spare parts inventory, raise material requisitions, and ensure proper site housekeeping and protection of completed works. * Identify energy efficiency opportunities to reduce operational costs where applicable. HSE & Compliance * Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce strict use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Ensure full compliance with company HSE policies, OSHAD, and applicable Abu Dhabi authority regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications * Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of site supervision experience in MEP installation and maintenance within the UAE (preferably Abu Dhabi). * Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and ELV/BMS systems. * Drawings: Proficient in reading and interpreting MEP shop drawings, schematics, and basic AutoCAD (.dwg) files. * Testing Sequence Knowledge: Solid understanding of electrical testing sequences (Visual Inspection \rightarrow Continuity \rightarrow Insulation Resistance \rightarrow Earth Continuity/Resistance \rightarrow Polarity \rightarrow Phase Sequence \rightarrow RCD/Protection Testing \rightarrow Functional Testing \rightarrow Energization \rightarrow Commissioning \rightarrow Documentation). * Leadership: Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary technical crews, resolve site conflicts, and handle emergency breakdown pressures. * Languages: Fluency in spoken and written English is required. * Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authority standards (e.g., ADDC, Civil Defense, Municipality).
