# MEP QUALITY INSPECTOR **Tasneem General Contracting Co and Real Estate Management LLC** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 6 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role MEP QUALITY INSPECTOR | Abu Dhabi, UAE* *EPC / Oil & Gas | QA/QC – MEP* Join a major EPC project in Abu Dhabi as a multidisciplinary MEP Quality Inspector, covering Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems — including specialized INERGEN clean-agent suppression work. *Qualification & Experience* - Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or relevant Engineering discipline - 5 years relevant QA/QC inspection experience would be preferred - UAE/GCC experience preferred - EPC/Oil & Gas experience preferred - ADNOC project experience/approval will be an advantage *Core Technical Knowledge* - Electrical power, LV systems, panels, cables, cable trays, conduits, earthing and bonding - Fire Alarm and applicable ELV systems - HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, ductwork, piping and associated equipment - Plumbing, water supply and drainage systems - Firefighting systems including fire water piping, pumps, hydrants, hose reels and sprinklers - INERGEN (IG-541) clean-agent fire suppression system, including cylinders, manifolds, piping, nozzles, detection/release interfaces and functional testing - Testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning requirements *What You'll Do* - Perform MEP inspections in accordance with approved ITPs, Method Statements, IFC/shop drawings, project specifications and applicable codes & standards - Coordinate and conduct MIR/MRIR and WIR/IR inspections with relevant parties - Verify materials and equipment against approved material submittals, specifications and project requirements - Witness inspections and tests at designated Hold, Witness and Surveillance points as defined in the ITP - Verify installation workmanship and compliance prior to offering works for Client/Consultant inspection - Identify non-conformities and follow NCRs and quality observations through corrective action and closure - Maintain complete and traceable inspection records, checklists and test reports - Liaise with Construction, Engineering, Subcontractors, Vendors and Client/Consultant representatives on quality matters - Support and witness testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, punch listing and final handover activities *Standards & Technical Requirements* Working knowledge, as applicable to the project scope, of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISO 9001, UAE authority requirements, Client specifications and project-specific requirements. *Preferred Candidate:* A hands-on, multidisciplinary MEP Quality Inspector capable of independently inspecting Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and INERGEN system works.
