The successful candidate should have 10+ years of UAE local construction experience , strong MEP project management expertise, a primary electrical engineering background , and experience delivering a project with an MEP installation contract value of approximately AED 50 million . The role covers MEP construction management, project planning and progress control, quality and cost management, technical coordination, equipment and material management, subcontractor management, client and stakeholder coordination, as well as tender and commercial support. Key Responsibilities - Manage and oversee MEP construction and installation works from project execution through completion. - Manage MEP systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing/drainage, firefighting , and related MEP works. - Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, construction progress, quality, and project costs . - Coordinate MEP technical activities, including MEP shop drawings, detailed/developed design, technical proposals, and multidisciplinary coordination . - Coordinate MEP works with other project disciplines and construction activities. - Manage MEP equipment and material requirements, procurement coordination, delivery, and site receiving/inspection. - Manage, coordinate, and monitor MEP subcontractors and their work performance. - Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and relevant government authorities . - Support preparation and review of quantities, technical solutions/proposals, quotations, tender documents, and commercial submissions . - Provide support for commercial activities, tendering, pricing, and business negotiations related to MEP projects. - Ensure project activities are aligned with applicable Dubai MEP construction requirements, approval procedures, government requirements, and client requirements . - Maintain effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Candidate Requirements Experience - Minimum 10 years of local UAE construction experience . - Experience working on an MEP installation project with a contract value of approximately AED 50 million . - Electrical engineering should be the candidate's primary professional discipline . - Strong hands-on experience in MEP construction and project management. - Strong experience covering multiple MEP disciplines, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing/drainage, and firefighting. - Strong knowledge of Dubai MEP construction practices, approval procedures, and relevant government/client requirements . Technical & Project Management Skills - MEP project planning and construction management. - Project schedule and progress control . - Quality control and construction quality management. - Cost control and project cost management. - MEP technical coordination and multidisciplinary coordination. - Shop drawing and technical proposal coordination. - MEP equipment and material management. - Subcontractor management. - Client, consultant, contractor, subcontractor, and government authority coordination. - Tendering, quantity preparation, technical proposal preparation, pricing, and commercial support. - Commercial negotiation support. Communication & Language - Fluent English . - Arabic and/or Chinese language skills are preferred . - Strong communication and coordination skills with different project stakeholders. PRO / Government Experience - Candidates holding UAE government-recognized PRO authorization/qualification are preferred. - Candidates with relevant corporate PRO experience are preferred. - Familiarity with UAE government procedures and approval processes is preferred. Preferred Candidate Background - Candidates currently based in Dubai/UAE are preferred. - Candidates available for full-time employment are preferred. - Candidates who can join as soon as possible are preferred. - Candidates with relevant PRO experience and knowledge of UAE government procedures are preferred. - International/foreign candidates with the required UAE construction experience are welcome and preferred, subject to the position requirements. Certifications / Licenses - UAE government-recognized PRO authorization/qualification – preferred. - Other specific certifications or licenses – not specified in the hiring requirements . Compensation & Benefits - Monthly salary: AED 20,000–25,000 . - International health insurance . - Paid annual leave . - UAE statutory public holidays .
