We are looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead and manage MEP works across construction and development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and project management experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the UAE , preferably within real estate development or construction. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all MEP activities from project initiation through completion and handover. - Plan, coordinate, and monitor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire fighting, and other MEP works. - Ensure MEP works are delivered according to approved designs, specifications, project schedules, quality standards, and budget. - Review MEP drawings, designs, shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical specifications. - Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams. - Monitor project progress and ensure MEP works remain on schedule. - Manage MEP contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. - Identify and resolve technical issues, design conflicts, and site coordination challenges. - Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings. - Ensure all MEP installations comply with UAE regulations, authority requirements, approved drawings, and relevant international standards. - Coordinate with authorities and ensure timely approvals, inspections, testing, and commissioning. - Monitor project costs, variations, material procurement, and resource requirements related to MEP works. - Review contractor payment applications, variations, and claims related to MEP works. - Ensure proper testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover of all MEP systems. - Prepare and review progress reports, technical reports, and project documentation. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements. - Support the project team in achieving project completion and successful handover. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of MEP project management experience in the UAE . - Strong experience in managing MEP works for residential, commercial, mixed-use, or real estate development projects . - Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and other building MEP systems. - Proven experience managing MEP contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers. - Good knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority requirements, and approval processes. - Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, cost control, quality, and HSE requirements. - Experience with testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover. - Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple MEP activities and stakeholders simultaneously. - Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD , and project management/planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is preferred.
