The candidate will be responsible for inspecting MEP works on site, ensuring that installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, and authority requirements. Key Responsibilities - Inspect MEP installation works at various stages of construction. - Review and verify works against approved shop drawings, specifications, and project requirements. - Inspect mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations for quality and compliance. - Monitor site activities and identify non-conforming works. - Review and comment on material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests when required. - Conduct inspections and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams. - Ensure MEP works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and applicable UAE regulations and standards. - Prepare inspection reports, site observations, and non-conformance reports where required. - Follow up on corrective actions and verify that identified defects are properly rectified. - Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure proper integration of MEP systems with architectural and structural works. - Participate in testing and commissioning activities and verify that systems meet project requirements. - Maintain proper inspection and quality documentation throughout the project. - Report site progress, technical issues, and quality concerns to the supervising engineer. Requirements - Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field . - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in MEP inspection within consultancy or construction projects. - Consultancy experience is preferred. - Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation practices, and inspection procedures. - Good knowledge of approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs. - Familiarity with UAE construction standards, authority requirements, and applicable international codes. - Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical documents. - Strong communication and coordination skills. - Good reporting and documentation skills. - Proficiency in MS Office. - UAE/GCC project experience is preferred. - Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
