MEP General Manager

We are Hiring: MEP General Manager / Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced MEP professional to join and lead the operations of our Electromechanical Contracting Company in the UAE.

Requirements:

• 10–15 years of total experience in MEP / Electromechanical works.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong background in MEP contracting is mandatory.
• Candidates with only consulting experience will not be considered.
• Strong experience in managing MEP projects, site operations, manpower, procurement, subcontractors, and client relationships.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and related MEP systems.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction practices, authority requirements, consultants, main contractors, and project procedures.
• Experience in project budgeting, cost control, variations, claims, procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the company’s MEP contracting operations and ongoing projects.
• Monitor project progress, cost, quality, manpower, materials, and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to required quality standards.
• Monitor project profitability, cash flow, billing, collections, and variations.
• Lead Project Managers, Engineers, and site teams.
• Support tendering, estimation, procurement, and business development activities.
• Resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, HSE requirements, and company procedures.
