Carry out detailed quantity take-offs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and fire alarm systems. Obtain and evaluate quotations from MEP subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets to support award recommendations. Identify scope gaps, technical risks, and clarifications required before tender submission. Ensure estimates comply with UAE authority requirements (DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defence, Etisalat, etc.) where applicable. Coordinate with design consultants and MEP engineers to validate system design and specification intent. Support value engineering exercises to optimize MEP costs without compromising quality or compliance. Maintain a current database of MEP material and labor rates specific to the UAE market. Requirments and qualifications Minimum 5 years of MEP estimating experience within the UAE construction or fit-out industry. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Familiarity with UAE authority approval processes and local codes/standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MEP estimating/take-off software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex MEP drawings and specifications. Good communication skills for coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams. Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
