MEP Project Execution Manage and supervise MEP works from mobilization through completion and handover. Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and other MEP activities. Ensure work is executed according to approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements. Monitor daily site activities and ensure progress is aligned with the approved project schedule. Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Supervisors, QA/QC, HSE, consultants, and subcontractors. 2. Engineering & Technical Coordination Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, specifications, and BOQs. Identify technical issues, discrepancies, and clashes and coordinate their resolution. Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural works. Conduct site inspections and verify that installations comply with approved drawings and standards. Prepare technical reports, site reports, material requirements, and progress updates. 3. HVAC & Mechanical Works Supervise HVAC installation, ducting, chilled-water piping, FCU/AHU, ventilation, pumps, and associated systems. Monitor testing, commissioning, and balancing activities. Ensure proper installation and testing of mechanical equipment and systems. 4. Electrical Works Coordinate electrical installation activities including power distribution, lighting, DBs, panels, containment, cable trays, earthing, and related systems. Coordinate electrical requirements with mechanical and other MEP services. Ensure installations comply with approved drawings and applicable authority requirements. 5. Plumbing & Fire Fighting Supervise domestic water supply, drainage, sanitary, storm-water, and related plumbing works. Coordinate fire-fighting and fire-protection installations. Monitor pressure testing, flushing, testing, and commissioning activities. 6. Project Coordination Attend project coordination meetings with the consultant, client, main contractor, and subcontractors. Coordinate work schedules and manpower requirements with the Project Manager. Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned works. Coordinate material procurement and delivery with the procurement team. 7. Quality Control Ensure MEP works comply with project specifications and approved materials. Coordinate inspections with QA/QC and consultant representatives. Prepare and follow inspection requests and testing procedures. Monitor and close NCRs, observations, and corrective actions. 8. HSE Compliance Ensure all MEP activities are carried out in accordance with company HSE procedures and project requirements. Coordinate with the HSE team regarding risk assessments, method statements, permits, and toolbox talks. Ensure safe working practices are followed by employees and subcontractors. 9. Testing & Commissioning Coordinate testing and commissioning of MEP systems. Ensure testing records and commissioning documents are properly maintained. Assist with authority inspections and approvals. Support preparation of handover documentation, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranties. 10. Progress & Reporting Monitor daily and weekly MEP progress. Prepare progress reports and identify delays or potential project risks. Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and productivity. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and management. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline. 10+ years of relevant MEP experience , preferably in UAE/GCC construction or MEP contracting. UAE/GCC project experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of MEP construction, installation, testing, and commissioning. Knowledge of relevant UAE authority requirements and applicable international standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
