# MEP ENGINEER **Cherwell Interiors** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 6 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We are looking for an experienced and technically competent MEP & HVAC Engineer with Dubai Municipality certification as an Electrical Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, supervision, and execution of MEP and HVAC works for interior fit-out and construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and UAE regulations. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related building services works . Review and interpret MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and shop drawings. Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural, joinery, and interior fit-out works. Monitor site activities and ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and project specifications. Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and technical documentation. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams. Ensure HVAC systems, electrical installations, and other MEP services are properly installed, tested, and commissioned. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with applicable Dubai Municipality and UAE authority requirements . Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions. Monitor project progress, quality, materials, and workmanship. Assist in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, technical proposals, and project cost estimates when required. Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper handover documentation. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, local regulations, and project standards . Attend technical meetings and provide engineering support to the project team. Liaise with relevant authorities and support the approval process where required. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / MEP Engineering or a related field. Dubai Municipality Certified Electrical Engineer – mandatory. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant UAE experience in MEP/HVAC projects, preferably in interior fit-out and construction . Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP systems. Good understanding of UAE/Dubai Municipality requirements, standards, and authority approvals. Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with MEP coordination/BIM software is an advantage. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and MEP shop drawings. Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. UAE driving license is an advantage. Candidates who can join immediately or with a short notice period will be preferred. Preferred Candidate Profile Strong technical knowledge with hands-on site experience. Experience coordinating multiple MEP disciplines in fast-paced projects. Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal teams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and timely project delivery.
