# MEP Engineer **AMREET TECH CONT LLC** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role MEP Project Engineer – High-Rise Building Projects (Dubai) - 1 Nos Junior Site Engineer - 2 Nos ( fresher can apply) Job Summary The MEP Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and successfully delivering all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, works for high-rise residential, commercial developments. The role ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, in compliance with UAE regulations, and according to quality and safety standards. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution Lead the complete MEP scope from design review through commissioning and handover. Develop project schedules, manpower plans, procurement schedules, and resource allocation plans. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones. Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and façade teams. Technical Management Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical proposals. Ensure proper integration of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, ELV, and life-safety systems. Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction. Verify compliance with project specifications, international standards, and UAE authority requirements. Authority Approvals & Compliance Liaise with authorities including: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority Dubai Municipality Dubai Civil Defence Ensure all inspections, testing, certifications, and approvals are obtained on time. Commercial & Cost Control Manage MEP budgets and monitor project costs. Review subcontractor payments, variation orders, and claims. Implement cost-saving and value-engineering initiatives. Track procurement and material delivery schedules. Team & Stakeholder Management Lead MEP engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors. Conduct coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management. Ensure effective communication among all project stakeholders. Quality, Safety & Commissioning Implement QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements. Ensure compliance with project quality plans and safety standards. Manage testing, commissioning, TAB (Testing, Adjusting & Balancing), and system validation. Lead final handover, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and defect liability management. RequirementsEducation Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Membership of professional engineering bodies is an advantage. Experience 05–8 years of MEP construction experience. Minimum 5 years as MEP Engineer in the UAE. Proven experience delivering high-rise towers (10+ floors preferred), hotels, mixed-use developments, or luxury residential projects. Experience from design stage through commissioning and handover. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of: HVAC Systems Electrical Power & Lighting Systems Plumbing & Drainage Fire Fighting Systems ELV & BMS Systems Proficiency in: MS Project AutoCAD Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NEC, and UAE building regulations. Soft Skills Leadership and team management. Contract administration and negotiation. Problem-solving and decision-making. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple high-rise projects simultaneously. Typical KPI's Project completion within budget and schedule. Zero major safety incidents. Successful authority approvals and inspections. Reduced MEP coordination clashes. Client satisfaction and defect-free handover. Achievement of project quality targets. Autocadd knowlege is required.
