Position: MEP Draftsman Employment Type: Temporary / Project-Based Initial Contract Duration: 2 Months (Extendable based on project requirements and performance) Location: Qatar Job Description We are seeking a skilled MEP Draftsman with strong experience in preparing and developing MEP drawings for construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings, coordinating with engineering and site teams, and ensuring drawings comply with project requirements and applicable standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings based on engineering designs and project requirements. Develop and modify drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and other disciplines to identify and resolve clashes. Review drawings and incorporate comments from engineers, consultants, and site teams. Prepare drawings based on site measurements and actual site conditions. Maintain proper drawing revisions, documentation, and drawing registers. Coordinate closely with project engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other project teams. Ensure drawings are accurate, clear, and prepared according to project specifications and applicable standards. Assist the engineering team with technical drawings and documentation as required. Requirements Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an MEP Draftsman. Gulf experience is mandatory. Previous experience in Qatar or other GCC countries is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Experience coordinating MEP services with architectural and structural drawings. Good attention to detail and ability to work under project deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with the project team. Candidates currently available in Qatar are preferred.
