# MEP Draftsman **AL BORKAN GLOBAL GENERAL CONTRACTING - L.L.C** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role MEP Draftsman Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Job Type: Full-time Industry: MEP / Construction / Contracting Job Summary We are looking for an experienced MEP Draftsman to prepare accurate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing drawings for ongoing construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills, good knowledge of MEP systems, and experience preparing coordinated shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submissions in accordance with project requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and related services. Prepare and update as-built drawings based on actual site conditions. Develop coordinated MEP drawings and identify clashes between different services. Prepare layouts, sections, elevations, schematics, and detailed installation drawings. Coordinate MEP drawings with Architectural, Structural, and other disciplines. Revise drawings based on consultant/client comments and approved design changes. Prepare drawings for technical submissions and approvals. Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control, and drawing records. Coordinate closely with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, QA/QC, and other project team members. Incorporate approved material and equipment details into shop drawings. Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions and installation conditions. Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, approved IFC drawings, applicable standards, and authority requirements. Support the engineering team in preparing technical details and construction documentation. Complete assigned drawings within project deadlines. Requirements Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Drafting, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman , preferably with UAE MEP or construction contracting companies. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD . Knowledge of Revit MEP / BIM will be an advantage. Good understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, and Electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Experience in preparing MEP coordinated shop drawings and as-built drawings . Good understanding of MEP coordination and construction methodology. Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Good communication and coordination skills. UAE project experience is preferred. Preferred Skills AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MEP Coordination, Shop Drawings, As-Built Drawings, HVAC Drawings, Plumbing & Drainage Drawings, Fire Fighting Drawings, Electrical Drawings, Construction Documentation, Technical Coordination.
