# MEP Coordinator (Civil Engineering experience) **HEILBRONN PROPERTIES DEVELOPMENT** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Reports To: Project Director / Project Manager POSITION OVERVIEW Heilbronn Dubai is seeking a highly experienced MEP Coordinator with a solid Civil Engineering background and a minimum of 15 years of industry experience in high-end real estate developments, residential, and commercial construction across the UAE. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between Civil/Structural site execution and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. You will be responsible for leading the integration of all MEP services with structural and architectural designs, ensuring constructability, minimizing site clashes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving seamless execution from shop drawing review through to final testing and commissioning. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Technical & Design Coordination Review and coordinate structural, architectural, and MEP shop drawings to identify and resolve design clashes prior to site execution. Ensure all MEP installations strictly conform to Civil/Structural constraints, local UAE authority regulations, and project specifications. Review contractor/subcontractor technical submittals, Request for Information (RFIs), and Method Statements. Oversee Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination meetings and drive 3D clash detection workflows between MEP, structural, and architectural models. 2. Site Execution & Interface Management Supervise on-site MEP works to ensure seamless integration with civil/structural concrete pours, masonry work, and architectural finishes. Coordinate builder’s work requirements (containments, penetrations, block-outs, sleeves, and cast-in-item locations) with Civil Engineers prior to structural casting. Manage day-to-day coordination between civil main contractors, MEP subcontractors, specialist sub-consultants, and authorities. Monitor site progress against the master schedule, proactively identifying site bottlenecks, access issues, or technical clashes to implement immediate catch-up strategies. 3. Quality Assurance & Authority Compliance Conduct regular site inspections with QA/QC engineers to ensure high-quality workmanship, compliance with approved shop drawings, and zero rework. Oversee authority inspections and approvals (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, Empower, Etisalat/DU, etc.). Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across all MEP site operations in compliance with local regulations. 4. Testing, Commissioning & Handover Lead the testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of all MEP systems alongside third-party consultants and main contractors. Manage the close-out process, including snagging/de-snagging, preparation of As-Built drawings, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and statutory authority completion certificates. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or Structural Engineering) from a recognized university. Overall Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the construction/real estate development sector, with a heavy focus on coordinating MEP systems within major structural/civil projects. Regional Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of hands-on project execution in Dubai / UAE . Authority Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Dubai Municipality (DM), DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), RERA, and relevant local UAE authority codes and approval processes. Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit (BIM), Primavera P6, and ERP platforms. KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS Interdisciplinary Expertise: Deep understanding of civil/structural loads, concrete casting schedules, and builder's work integrated with HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Firefighting, and Low Voltage (LV) systems. Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution: Proven ability to resolve complex engineering clashes on site quickly under pressure. Contractor & Subcontractor Leadership: Strong management capability to align multiple MEP trade sub-contractors with overall project civil deadlines. Communication: High-level professional verbal and written English communication skills; ability to represent the company in consultant/authority meetings. Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
