Key Responsibilities · System Design: Create single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic diagrams, wiring layouts, and substation layouts. · Engineering Calculations: Perform load flow, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop, motor starting, cable sizing, and protective relay coordination studies. · Equipment Specification: Select and specify major MV components including switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, busbars, and surge arresters. · Documentation: Release Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical data sheets, and comprehensive design packages for manufacturing or construction. · Collaboration & Support: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, project managers, and vendors to review equipment submittals and provide factory or site support. · Requirements and Qualifications · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or a closely related discipline). · Experience: 2 to 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical power distribution, substations, or switchgear design. · Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical drafting tools like AutoCAD Electrical, E-Plan, or Engineering Base, alongside power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM). Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month Work Location: In person
