We are a family owned med-tech distribution company representing high profile brands including Johnson & Johnson, BD and innovative start-ups. This is a critical role focusing on the following surgical areas: Plastics, Breast, Vascular surgery and Wound Care—where clinical outcomes and technical precision are paramount. You will be responsible for navigating the complex HSE and private hospital landscape, building lasting relationships with Consultant Surgeons, Theatre Managers, Nurses and Procurement teams. Key Responsibilities: - Territory Management: Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve sales targets across both public and private hospital sectors. - “Sell with Science”: Deliver technical, evidence-based presentations that leverage clinical data, peer-reviewed studies, and clinical benefits to influence surgical choice. - Clinical Support: Provide support in the OR, offering technical guidance to surgical teams during live procedures. - Relationship Excellence: Build and maintain strong working relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), customers, leads and multidisciplinary teams. - Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of surgical trends, competitor activity, and HSE tendering processes. Qualifications & Experience: - Experience: Previous experience in medical device sales is preferred (ideally within a surgical or theatre-based environment), however it is not essential. Exceptional graduates will also be considered - Education: A degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering or Allied Health related field is highly advantageous. - Mobility: A full, clean Irish driving license and the flexibility to travel across the assigned territory is essential.
