# Mechanical QS - Temporary Role **Elegancia Services** · Doha · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 13 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Mechanical Quantity Surveyor (QS) Experience: 5–8 Years Location: Qatar / GCC Key Requirements: Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor within construction, MEP, or infrastructure projects. Proven experience working on large-scale building, infrastructure, or industrial projects . Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, measurement, valuation, cost estimation, and cost control . Hands-on experience in variation claims, interim payment applications, monthly valuations, and final account preparation . Experience in subcontractor measurement, payment certification, reconciliation, and commercial management . Good understanding of contracts, commercial terms, scope changes, and contract administration . Experience in project close-out, final measurements, claims settlement, and preparation of project final accounts . Ability to review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual documents and identify quantity/commercial discrepancies. Strong skills in Excel and QS/commercial reporting tools . Good communication, negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, Clients, Procurement teams, and subcontractors . GCC experience is preferred , particularly experience with major construction or infrastructure projects. Candidates with experience in Qatar/KSA/UAE projects and local contract practices will have an added advantage. Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
