The role will combine mechanical engineering knowledge with client relationship management, project research, tendering, and business development activities to generate new business opportunities and support project acquisition. Key Responsibilities Identify and research new mechanical engineering, MEP, HVAC, fabrication, industrial, and maintenance project opportunities in the target market. Search for potential clients, contractors, consultants, developers, and project owners requiring mechanical engineering services. Monitor construction, industrial, infrastructure, and commercial projects from the planning and tender stages through award. Develop and maintain a database of upcoming and ongoing projects and potential clients. Contact prospective clients and introduce the company’s engineering capabilities, products, and services. Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders. Review tender invitations, RFQs, RFPs, and project specifications to identify suitable opportunities. Coordinate with the technical and commercial teams to assess project requirements, scope, costs, and feasibility. Prepare technical proposals, quotations, scope of work, and other documents required for project submissions. Conduct site visits and meetings with clients when required to understand project requirements. Follow up on submitted quotations, tenders, and proposals and maintain regular communication with prospective clients. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain technical information and commercial quotations. Assist management in developing project acquisition strategies and identifying potential business sectors. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Relevant experience in mechanical engineering, MEP, HVAC, industrial projects, fabrication, maintenance, or technical sales/business development. Good understanding of mechanical engineering systems and project requirements. Strong knowledge of the local construction and engineering market. Ability to identify and develop new project leads independently. Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents. UAE/GCC project market experience 1-2years. Salary and other benefits will be discussed.
