Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Site Engineer specializing in HVAC works to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of climate control systems across our construction projects. In this role, you will be fully responsible for ensuring that all ventilation, air conditioning, chilled water, and ducting systems are installed safely, on schedule, and in strict accordance with engineering designs and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• HVAC Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day installation of HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, ductwork, and chilled water piping networks.
• Drawing Review: Review and cross-check MEP shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and structural constraints to resolve design clashes before installation begins.
• Quality & Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of ongoing work, raise Requests for Inspection (RFIs) with consultants, and ensure all installations meet strict QA/QC standards.
• Testing & Commissioning: Lead the testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of airflow and water systems, managing final commissioning activities prior to client handover.
• Material Coordination: Verify that delivered HVAC equipment and materials match approved technical submittals, specifications, and project quantities.
• Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, ducting foremen, and technicians to monitor daily progress against the project schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: [X] years of dedicated site experience in HVAC and MEP installations within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of ASHRAE standards, SMACNA guidelines, and regional civil defense regulations.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (for drawing verification) and familiarity with HVAC load calculation or selection software is a plus.
• Core Competencies: Strong leadership capabilities, exceptional troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage on-site labor effectively.
• Driving License: A valid driving license is highly preferred for traveling between active project sites.

AED3,000.00 - AED8,500.00 per month
