For our branch in Atyrau we are looking for Mechanical Engineer

Main Tasks

• Provide the KDI with clear design inputs, requirements and technical instructions based on project specifications, applicable Kazakhstan requirements and agreed project decisions.
• Review KDI equipment layouts, arrangements, schedules and BOQ/BOM against vendor drawings and project requirements. Check operating capacity, installation clearances, maintenance access and equipment removal arrangements.
• Review vendor datasheets and design/installation requirements. Verify dimensions, weights, loads, anchors, utilities and service conditions and their incorporation into the KDI design. Arrange specialist review of equipment calculations where needed.
• Issue substantiated review comments, resolve KDI queries and prepare responses to Owner comments. Check corrections in revised documents and track outstanding deliverables and technical actions.
• Coordinate equipment interfaces with structures, piping, electrical and control systems. Resolve gaps or overlaps in supply boundaries with the KDI, offshore engineers and suppliers.
• Prepare or update selected equipment specifications, datasheets and material requisitions when assigned by the Engineering Manager. Support technical bid evaluations and review proposed deviations.
• Resolve construction technical queries (TQs), discrepancies and proposed substitutions with the KDI and site team. Obtain required design approvals and ensure affected documents are updated.
• Provide engineering support to vendor tests, installation checks and mechanical completion. Verify technical punch closure, applicable conformity documents, equipment passports and operating and maintenance documentation.
